Editorial of the Frenesi Collection
The Frenesi collection marks my beginnings in experimenting with metal, inspired by Lygia Clark's perceptive approach. I worked with 950 silver, textures and sharp cuts, exploring creative mistakes and successes. Here, the shapes that do not speak of the authorial through the unprecedented, but rather through an experiment in authorship.
Editorial of the Carnival Fictions Collection
The Ficções de Carnaval collection was born as my final project, where I defend and draw a parallel between the freedom of the creative process and the freedom expressed in Carnival experiences. In this project, I investigate memory as the main coefficient of value in contemporary jewelry. Thus, I revisit my memories and experiences of Carnival in Pernambuco, observing the traces that the celebration leaves behind. By exploring streets in urban centers and elements such as the architecture of Portuguese-Brazilian railings, present in other Brazilian city centers, I realize how these forms evoke the collective imagination, connecting memory and culture.
